Forsythia Festival
Forsyth kicks off spring with this free, family-friendly downtown
festival on March 14-15, 2026. Visitors can enjoy a two-day arts and crafts show, food vendors,
restaurant specials, a 5K run, live entertainment, and more throughout the weekend. Festival
hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Green Tomato Festival
Head to nearby Juliette on October 25-26, 2025 for the Green Tomato
Festival, inspired by the movie Fried Green Tomatoes that made the town famous. Enjoy the
Whistle Stop Cafe, shop local artisan booths, listen to live music, and explore Juliette’s
unique boutiques and small-town charm.
Hometown Holiday Parade
Kick off the season in downtown Forsyth with the 35th Annual Hometown
Holiday Parade on Thursday, December 4, 2025. The lighted parade winds through town bringing
