Forsyth Forsythia Festival

We kick off the beautiful spring season with one of the most exciting events of the year: The Forsythia Festival. This free, family-friendly event takes place March 14th-15th, 2026 in downtown Forsyth. Activities include: a two-day arts and crafts show, food vendors, local restaurant special hours, 5K run, live entertainment and more! Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Green Tomato Festival

Missed getting your fried green tomatoes? Head over to nearby Juliette for the Green Tomato Festival, October 25-26, 2025, in celebration of the movie, Fried Green Tomatoes, that made Juliette world-famous. Eat at the delicious Whistle Stop Café, browse booths of goods made by local artisans, enjoy live music and partake in the unique shops and boutiques of Juliette!

Hometown Holiday Parade

What can be better than starting the holidays with a parade? Why Santa of course! Join us in town for our 35th Annual Hometown Holiday Parade on Thursday December 4, 2025. The lighted parade winds through downtown Forsyth, spreading holiday cheer to children and adults of all ages.
