Alamo Watermelon Festival & BBQ Cook Off

This family-friendly festival features free watermelon slices, a kids' carnival with rides, a BBQ cook-off, various vendors, a beer garden, and live music performances. Highlights include the Watermelon Eating Contest and Seed Spitting Challenge. Entry is free before 5 p.m. and $5 after 5 p.m.
