Stone Mountain Christmas
Held seasonally from November through early January, Stone Mountain Christmas is the park’s signature holiday event. The park comes alive with millions of festive lights, holiday shows, themed attractions, and seasonal train rides. It’s a favorite for families and anyone visiting the area during the winter holidays.
Dino Fest
Perfect for families and dinosaur lovers, Dino Fest brings prehistoric fun to Stone Mountain Park each spring. Expect giant dinosaur displays, themed parades, interactive experiences, 4-D shows, and even a dinosaur-inspired drone & light show (on select dates). It’s an engaging mix of education and entertainment for all ages.
Yellow Daisy Festival
One of Georgia’s largest and most beloved arts & crafts festivals, the Yellow Daisy Festival takes place annually at Stone Mountain Park over several days following Labor Day. It features 400+ artists and crafters, handmade goods, food vendors, live music, a kids’ fun zone, and a vintage market—making it a must-see fall event for both locals and visitors.

Stone Mountain Carving
The massive granite carving on Stone Mountain is the largest bas-relief sculpture in the world. It’s the park’s most iconic landmark and can be viewed from multiple points throughout the grounds.
Summit Skyride
This Swiss-style cable car takes visitors to the top of Stone Mountain, offering panoramic views of metro Atlanta and the Appalachian foothills on clear days. At the summit, guests can explore walking paths and scenic overlooks.
Stone Mountain Scenic Railroad
A full-size vintage train circles the base of the mountain on a five-mile loop, making it a relaxing way to see the park. Seasonal themes, including holiday and special-event rides, add to its family appeal.
Hiking Trails at Stone Mountain
Stone Mountain Park features more than 15 miles of hiking trails, including the popular Walk-Up Trail to the summit. Trails range from easy lakeside walks to more challenging climbs with rewarding views.
Historic Square
This recreated 19th-century village showcases historic Georgia buildings, craft demonstrations, and live costumed interpreters. It offers a glimpse into regional history and traditional Southern life.
Stone Mountain Laser Show Spectacular
Held seasonally, the Laser Show combines music, lasers, lights, and fireworks projected onto the mountain’s surface. It’s one of the park’s most popular nighttime attractions, especially during summer and holiday events.
